1st Annual TrekNorth Talent Show
Friday, March 19th
at The Mask & Rose Theater

TrekNorth will host their 1st Talent Show at the Mask & Rose Theater on Friday, March 19th.  The event starts at 6:00 with a chili cook-off competition between College Prep groups from the school.  

Student and staff performances start at 6:30. Cost of admission is $2 per individual, or $10 for a family of 5 or more.  The entry fee gets you chili and a ticket to the show.  Voting for the chili costs $0.25 per vote.

TrekNorth Open House
Thursday, March 25 and Thursday, April 15
6:00 - 8:00 p.m.

TrekNorth Open Houses are for any students, parents, or community members who'd like to learn more about the TrekNorth program.  The event includes a presentation about the learning program, guided tours of the school, and the opportunity to meet TrekNorth staff and students.

TrekNorth students score highest in region on 2009 state MCA-II tests!

Every public school in the state of Minnesota is required to have their students take the MCA-II tests.  In 2009, TrekNorth students had the highest scores in the region, including Bemidji, Blackduck, Bagley, Walker, Cass Lake, Laporte, and Red Lake on 4 out of the 6 tests students are required to take.  This achievement is a true testament to the hard work done by both teachers and students. Congratulations!

Tutor Sessions

Tutors are now available Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3:15 p.m.to 4:15 p.m. Any student who would like to receive extra help in any subject should plan to join the tutors in Deb's room.

The tutors will also be available at Saturday School from 8:00 a.m.-11:00 a.m. Please talk to Dan if you have questions.
