Tuesday marked the first day of our three days of Outdoor Adventures! Groups of 9th - 11th graders signed up to hike, bike or canoe for a day. On Tuesday, we had one group bike around Lake Bemidji, while two other groups headed to La Salle State Recreation Area (about 1/2 hour southwest of Bemidji) to canoe and hike. This photo of our hiking group was taken at the scenic overlook of the La Salle Creek, right before it joins the Mississippi River.
