Tune in to Lakeland PBTV tonight (2/20/25) at 10 to see TrekNorth on the Golden Apple!

Another picture of games in the dark - we all made it back.

Trek's first day at Deep Portage is winding down. Kids are getting ready for bed. A few pictures of our day - skiing, climbing, chillin with friends, ice fishing and a little game of nocturnal hunters to end the day. A big THANKS to all the family and friends who helped prepare the 6th graders for this outing. They are having a great time!

TrekNorth 6th Grade has made it to Deep Portage and is outside enjoying their first activity! 29 students and 5 TN staff made the trip. Hope to post some pictures after dinner.
Have you ever wondered how much particulate matter your car emits? Find out by putting a clean tube sock over the end of your muffle and let the car run for 5 minutes. AP Environmental Science got to see how polluting their own cars are this week!

Miigwech to Red Lake Nordic Ski Team for hosting us at the first ever ski race hosted by Red Lake. You made us feel so special and so welcome. Beautiful trails, great competition, delicious refreshments, good people and a crazy sledding hill. Congrats to all skiers!

The service trip to St Cloud was the BEST TRIP EVER! We packed 150 boxes for the mobile food shelf, purchased material for 22 birthday bags for the food shelf, made crafts and had lunch with seniors at a care center and then helped prepared and serve dinner for over 100 people at A Place of Hope shelter.

Ski trip is settling in for the night. We've had a great day discovering a new sledding hill, exploring a ski trail, and ending the night with a bonfire and hide go seek.

A huge congratulations to Lily and Caleb on their win at BSU's Comic Book Day . Thank you to the BSU TAD department for hosting us.

A great day of skiing for the Sundogs at Mount Itasca Winter Sport Center!

Sledding day tomorrow to celebrate the end of semester 1! 7th graders will be heading out on a field trip to Library Park to go sledding and celebrate all the work they have done. Please help your students come dressed for the weather. If they have lost their permission slips, please email Lia at lwiggins@treknorth.org to get a digital copy.
Thank you!
JH Student Council gave a $100 to the Nameless Coalition. Students raised money selling candy canes during the holiday season. Ex. Director Reed Olson spoke about what the Coalition does and who it serves in our community. The money will purchase hats and gloves for the guests.

In expectation of another extreme cold weather morning, TrekNorth will be having a two-hour late start tomorrow, January 21, 2025.
Stay warm!
